That's about my speed these days...here is the hoodie I've been working on, albeit VERY slowly!



Look familiar? This is the hoodie that Kaya snipped way back when...I finally got around to patching up the hole with this cute little mama and baby elephant applique!


Kaya was very excited that her elephant hoodie was ready to wear :) I'll have to see how the applique holds up on the chest before I can offer these for sale. But I could definitely put this sweet little elephant pair on the pocket!

Back in Business This New Year

Yes, we are still in business! My goodness it was a crazy holiday season for us; Kaya and I were so sick for about three weeks. KayaNow has not been abandoned!
I'm working on a little something new this week, so hopefully I'll have some pictures to post soon.

A custom order I recently filled......

I'm working on a custom very large adult-sized hoodie now...quite a change!

New Designs Coming Soon...

While I haven't added a new hoodie this week, I HAVE still been sewing...My next one was going to be a lotus applique similar to the OHM hoodie.

I had the hoodie nearly ready, and was placing the pocket on the front when I saw a tiny little snip right in the front of the shirt! Now, either I was careless, or my little helper got carried away while I was working on the lotus applique...ahem...looks like Kaya just earned herself a new hoodie, and I will be starting over!







Turns out I didn't much care for lotus flower #4 anyway, so I'm going back to the drawing board.

Perhaps I'll finish lotus #3...though I do rather like the fun, spiraly vapor on lotus #2!

I'm also working on a leaf and/or a tree of life design, and should have a longsleeved Red Stripe hoodie soon!
